Research Findings

IPMWG has commissioned of a wide variety of research to better understand the lifecycle of burrowing shrimp, efficacy of various control methods, and impacts on oyster farming in Willapa Bay and Grays Harbor.  The studies have looked at the impact of pesticides flow across tide flats, how compaction of sediment affects shrimp survival, and how to reduce the negative impact of burrowing shrimp on other wildlife.
